Rewiring VT tail lights

Hi,

I've just put monaro tail lights on the back of my VT. I have a couple of questions, first of all, where is the best place to get the VX boot garnish (if i'm calling it the right thing) at a not too ridiculous price? I rang a holden dealer and they're price was 110, do i have much hope of doing any better than that? I want to get it done soon as it looks god awful with the VT boot garnish on there!

Second, how do I get the passenger side reverse light into the monaro tail lights? Can someone please explain this to me in simple terms, as im not exactly what you'd call mechanically minded. I would assume i'd have to run a wire of some sort from the drivers side to the passenger side, and then kill the reverse light built into the garnish? Hopefully this makes sense and someone can help
