Default Just Bought My First Car

2 days ago... It's a 2000 VT Series II S. it's done about 150 k's and its completely stock.

now, im gonna be honest here. i have no idea about anything when it comes to cars. so i was hoping i could get some opinions on what modifications i should be looking into.

my main focus is getting a quick take-off, but at the same time i wanna keep it legal to drive (i'm on my P's). So yeah, if anyone's got some ideas as to where i should start it would be much apprectiated.

The easiest way to make it quicker, is to get the diff gears changed, and, if it is auto, a stage 2 shift kit.

Changing the diff gears (i think you have 3.08s stock) to something like 3.73 will give it great acceleration, whilst still not losing too much top end.

You could go something like 4.11s, but you will lose abit of fuel economy driving on the freeway.

Also, Start a my ride thread for yourself, and post up some pics.
