vt v6 cranks but doesnt start

i have v6 supercharged calais

it has ittermitant start problem sometimes it starts first go other times it'll just crank and crank and crank and then ill turn it off back on then it'll start sometimes it takes more than 1 go to turn off and back on before it starts help??

Check to see if the security light in the mode switch is flashing when it fails to start.

it could be a number of things. what codes are you getting? maybe a starting point.

When you first turn the key to accessories (right b4 ignition should occur), can you hear the fuel pump whirring? Even open the filler cap to get it more audible. If you can't hear it, it could be the fuel pump relay or even just a fuse.

I have never heard of an L67 fuel pump dying so might start with the relay if the pump isn't making a noise.

that's how my problem started. first port of call I'd say CAS. if it was immobiliser not disengaging then it wouldn't even crank

yeah, if the BCM (key reader) doesn't work it won't keep cranking. It will turn over for a split second then just stop. It definitely doesn't sound immobiliser related.

Fuel and Spark.... not much help I know.
