Does the standard Vx Berlina Stereo have a Pin?

Hey guys

As listed in the topic, does the VX Berlina Stereo has a pin number on it?

I'm just about to pull the stereo out of my berlina so that i can check the lights in the climate control. I'm worried that the stereo will have a pin, but i don't have the pin.

Does it have a pin, and if it does, what can i do to get it?

It would have a pin, i think holden can get the pin re-set but not too sure on that.

I you take the vin number and proof of ownership to a holden service department they will give you the pin number.

my code is on a little card that came inside the log book with some other key info

Any holden parts/service centre can provide them. I think Mcgrath holden in liverpool sydney wanted $25 I think..

Had this drama when I sold my holden deck on ebay....

mine was written in the owners manual when I bought it. Holden can easily look it up, but some dealers charge for the 30 seconds it takes to find it

Done! Got it from the local holden dealer for $10 - all i needed to do was show proof of ownership - i just took in my rego papers
