Default Someone set the story straight about steering wheel swaps. Please!!

OK so i want to put a VY/VZ steering wheel on my VT series 2. I have read god knows how many threads abot yes and no and im looking for an answer. I have seen a few VT's with VY wheels but i called a commodore spares shop and was told they wouldnt fit. So does anyone have an answer. Will the airbag work still? Just looking for the answer not a debate about how anything is possible etc. thanks heaps for any replies

yes they do fit, i think you have to change the clockwheel or something? There is a step by step thread on a few forums showing how to do it... I'm supprised its not on here somewhere....
