Red face VT Starter motor
My VT wagon stopped today. The NRMA guy wiggled the starter motor cable and it started again. So I need a new cable yes? Or a complete new starter motor?

Also, in the meantime, can someone show me exactly where the starter motor is in the engine and the cable thing? I have no clue, embarassingly

The starter is on the LHS, it will most likely be the solenoid cap on the starter that is loose. In which case, the starter has to be removed and the solenoid replaced. Check the cable first though, if it is loose on the bolt, tighten it up.
