Default cured the front end wobble.

A while ago i had a bad shake in the front end that i was at a loss as to what it was . It usually happened over 80 kays when i hit the brakes . When i checked the disc runout with a dial indicator it was within specs. Well on the weekend i checked it again and was within specs ,but when i put all five wheel nuts on and tightened them up ,checked it again i got a different reading . Also if i took the disc off and moved it to the next wheel stud i got yet another reading .I spent about an hour playing around with both discs and now they are vibration free .

No mate , I put new ones on about a month and a half ago . The old ones were too far gone to machine .

I had a set of tyres fitted a few years ago and had brake shudder after i picked it up from bridgestone.
Had me buggered for a couple of days as it was aok before....then it clicked....tyre place = rattle guns= brake shudder.
Undid all nuts and retorqued to specs.....good as gold.
I now torque the wheel nuts all the time if disturbed.

VT and VX have a tendency to create runout in the rotors if the wheel nuts are not torqued correctly and done in the correct star pattern sequence.

Good to see you fixed it.
