How to remove wheel stud?
Hi - the brake place must have cross threaded the nuts or something. While undoing the nuts to check the inside of the tyre, the nut sheared off!
How do I get the stud out and replace it please guys.
Thanks

Get a mobile mechanic to come around and do it, and send the bill to the tyre place.

They are pressed in. I have bashed them out with a hammer but I don't know if that is correct procedure or not. Just be careful not to warp anything. I would remove the hub assembly to do it.

Just knock it out and put a new one in. They are only pressed in.

From the front. The threaded end.

As said, from the front.
I've only changed studs on live axle, not sure if you'll need to pull the disc off or not to remove them.
This is the exact reason why i do my own wheel nuts up. If the tyre shop doesn't allow this, they don't get my business.

Yep, bash it out with a hammer once the rotor is removed. To put the new one in, put it through the hole from behind and then put a large washer over the stud. Put the wheel nut on backwards and do it up until the stud is seated. You may have to use two washers if the nut bottoms out on the thread.

I tried to get 2 of mine out today as they are a bit rooted.
But when i knocked em out... they couldnt get all the way out, there was a plate stopping them, needed about another 10-15 mm to get em out,
Any suggestions?

Have you got the rotor off as Not_An_Abba_Fan said?

I think if you rotate them there is like a cut out section that allows you to get them out.
