Default VX Berlina Driver's seat moves

    Hey guys

Any one have any experience with their driver's seat moving? Mine seems to rock just a small amount, whenever i accelerate or brake. It's driving me f*&cking nuts. I have found that if i use the electronic adjuster, and move the front part and high as possible, the movement is reduced, but it still moves.

Any one has this happen? If so, what is the fix?

    Cheers in advance

G'day people, this seems to be a standard fault in VT / VX's. I remember seeing it on the faults forum, think it might be a lose bolt or similar. If you find out the problem let me know as i have the same problem.

I've only bought mine a few weeks ago and i bought it with the problem.

I have had a look underneath, but can't ascertain where the movement is actually occuring. In the Sticky "common VX faults" there is a section which states the calais seat sometimes moves when accelerating/braking, but i'm not sure that it's the same problem which we have with the Belina...

let me know if you have any luck

Mine did it, but the back part moved back (it wasn't sliding back) hubby replaced some clip? I had to sit forward and hold the steering wheel when accelerating lol coz it moved. Wasn't fun. It wasn't that expensive to fix but. Will ask him when he gets his lazy ass outa bed.

I thought this was some recall thing were they were meant to put a spring under the seat? Mine does it too, but cbf doing anything about it...

With recalls how long are they valid, are they still valid after the first buyer sells the car?
