Hey guys
Any one have any experience with their driver's seat moving? Mine seems to rock just a small amount, whenever i accelerate or brake. It's driving me f*&cking nuts. I have found that if i use the electronic adjuster, and move the front part and high as possible, the movement is reduced, but it still moves.
Any one has this happen? If so, what is the fix?
Cheers in advance![]()
The seat in my VX does this as well, I've only just got the car, and to be honest, I havnt really checked out this problem yet :P
Hope theres an easy fix, but ill look into it on the long weekend...
G'day people, this seems to be a standard fault in VT / VX's. I remember seeing it on the faults forum, think it might be a lose bolt or similar. If you find out the problem let me know as i have the same problem.
I've only bought mine a few weeks ago and i bought it with the problem.
I have had a look underneath, but can't ascertain where the movement is actually occuring. In the Sticky "common VX faults" there is a section which states the calais seat sometimes moves when accelerating/braking, but i'm not sure that it's the same problem which we have with the Belina...
let me know if you have any luck![]()
hahaha yeah i don't think that's the issue...![]()
Yeah mines just starting to do this, fair annoying.
Has anyone had this happen and managed to fix it?
Mine did it, but the back part moved back (it wasn't sliding back) hubby replaced some clip? I had to sit forward and hold the steering wheel when accelerating lol coz it moved. Wasn't fun. It wasn't that expensive to fix but. Will ask him when he gets his lazy ass outa bed.
I thought this was some recall thing were they were meant to put a spring under the seat? Mine does it too, but cbf doing anything about it...
With recalls how long are they valid, are they still valid after the first buyer sells the car?
my vt does it as well not much though last holden check they told me it did that was a week ago and last night i found a clip with a ball bearing in it and a small shaft sitting on the carpet ander the seat I think mine would be the spare parts found now just got to put them back in the right place
doobs, did you end up checking it out over the weekend?
??? this might be a problem for the local holden service team i reckon
i have this problem too, however i have tilted my seat back a fair bit (lol GANGSTARR) not heaps but just enough so they my weight is always pushing back on the seat. i havent noticed this problem for about 2months now
