Default CRS Supercharger 8PSI on VT V6

    Hi,

i'm looking at getting a CRS supercharger kit and the hi-boost pulley (all for under 2500, which is why i'm getting it) now, do i need higher flow injectors or a fuel pressure regulator or what? i'v been reading around and can't find any straight answers...

also, CRS recomend getting a new memcal from castle auto electrics cos they have them made up specially for that purpose, and are about $500 exchange. should i go for that or try and get a cheap aftermarket ECU like a Microtech etc.? the reason i'm asking is the memcal option seems like it will be generalised to fit any VT V6, while if i get a computer, the dyno guy will be able to tailor it to my car.

    any help appreciated!

Whilst this is not for the supercharger you mentioned, there is a FAQ on the v6supercharged site.

argh, dont get a microwreck man, you've already got a perfectly good ecu. just have a kalmaker tune done for it and flashed onto the memcal.
as for the fuel side of things, you really only need to upgrade the injectors, the fuel pump and everything will be fine for the boost you plan on running.

firstly, cheers Daron for the info!

sircruisealotVS, where can i get this tune done? and how much will it cost approx?

another thing, will it be safe to drive my car to get tuned? or should i just use the standard fan belt and bring the other one in when i get it tuned?

    cheers guys

geese if i typed one up it would take me for ever
i actually got a second throtle/body and bored it out and blocked up holes and placed back to back at from and then bolted together
the throtle cable is long enough to go to the front and bend back around
youll need a flange type pipe to go where t/b is now
    all up i used 3 t/bs
