    Default VT 250k dash Insert

    hi,

i just bought a dash insert on eBay (to change the colour from the standard black) and after i paid for it i noticed it's a 250k one and my standard one is 220 i think... it doesn't bother me but I'm guessing the speedo will be off?

can i just go to holden and get my speedo calibrated? and how much will it cost?

    or is there another way?

    cheers guys
    Nathan

i think it can only b calibrated if its a series 1 cluster meaning it has the white back housing. if its black it can only b changed if it hasnt gone over 100KMs thats 4 changing the ODO reading tho. i cant see y u couldnt calibrate the rest Dr Bob would b the person 2 PM

yeah when i get it i'll take it down to holden, i rang em up a week ago and the guy there had no idea what he was talking about... he said i wouldn't need to re-calibrate my speedo, so i explained it to him and he still didn't get it, this was in the service department too... lol

this is Callaghan's in warrnambool I'm talking about.

changing the PPK to suit a different ratio is simple
changing the processor code to work a 250k insert isnt so simple
