Default Non Lowered VT camber issues

Been searching through a lot of threads but cant seem to find the answer to this one. I have a standard VT Acclaim family wagon thats is scrubbing the tread straight off the inside all four tyres. I originally had this problem with my last set of tyres but the tyre guy told me there was nothing wrong with my alignment/camber. I have only done 20,000km on these new set of tyres and the same thing has happened. I only noticed because i was under the car checking my diff oil and saw the wires poking through.
I have 16" rims, nothing speacial, I dont use the car to tow anything and there are no mods to the suspension. Should I change tyre dealers or is something else happening? This is costing me a fortune.

    g'day mate,

the vt/vx are very bad on camber, the wagons and statesmans are even worse. While the tyre dealer is prob correct in saying the camber is fine, what he means by fine is that it is still pretty close to what the car would have from factory. Drop into a Pedders suspension shop and ask about getting a 4 point camber kit it will set u back around $400 but it will save your tyres big time. Before i lowered my vt on rims i had standard srpings and shocks with 15x7 stock rims, and i had the inside of the tyre down to the steel belts and the outside looked like it had about 20,000 left on it. I have since had a camber kit from pedders and lowered it 2.5 inches and i dont have much of a problem anymore. if your keeping the standard ride height and rims then the camber kit will do wonders for you. hope this helps, all the best.

Take the car to a different wheel aligner, maybe his machine is out. You can adjust the fronts, but not the rears. You may have to get a 4 point camber kit fitted to the rear to fix that.

Holden dealer told me its advisable to get a wheel alignment and then pump your tyres up to 40psi to help prevent this.
