Commodore Trouble Shooting

G'day,

I have VX Series 2 Commodore. Recently engine malfunctions; mean to say i was driving and sort of lost control over accelerator under 1500 RPM. RPM will not drop lover then 1500. I pulled over, switched it off and then started again and every thing was fine. Next instant my power windows stoped working and later started working. Then another day i felt something different with my transmission and soon light came up on the trip computer. I switched it off and started again and every thing worked normal.

Can some one tell me whats going on with my car?
