Hey people... This is my first time on so I hope I do this right and everyone can understand what I am trying to say...
I currently own a VT S-Pack Sedan. The lighter is set into the lower dash just behind the automatic transmission [Below stereo, not the standard ****ty one that comes with, I had a Clarion fitted
].
Somehow I have managed to unscrew the damn thingand now it is disconnected from the wiring located BEHIND the dash...
I have tried to take the trim off, and get my hand in behind it to re-screw it back in but there is a metal grid in the way and I can't reach it... I AM HOPING THAT SOMEONE OUT THERE KNOWS HOW I CAN FIX MY BABY VT's Lighter... I just want it back in showroom condition... Post back if anyone has any ideas on how I can do this without having to completely remove the dash.. CHEERS PEEPS!!

This happened to me, I took the centre console out and fixed it, has never happened again since.
Everytime the thing would unscrew it would blow a fuse and the sunroof would close. ( it is wired into the cigarette lighter. )
On the upside, you get to give it a really good vacumm when you pull the centre console out. Do it when you have time as it takes a while and you won't be tempted to rush and snap something.
Thanks guys... will have to give it a go... Much appreciated!A special thanks to Dylan
for the help!!
funniest thing
this happened to me today altho my wiring stayed connected
all i did was pulled my consol facia thing off
took the compartmennt below the stereo off then put it back together (it was all there on the wires for me)
after that and a new fuse it was working fine![]()
