Default Leaking Radiator

G'day

Just recently, the temp sky rockets to very hot and sounding the alarm due to water being leaked out of the radiator. I couldn't tell that any of the hoses (visable ones) were loose, heater tap isn't leaking, water pump isn't leaking and water drips alot from directly under the radiator or as far as I know.

It's generally a green colour too so I'm assuming it's the coolant and it leaks between the radiator and the plastic shrouding under it.

I'm gonna take it to the mechanic tomorrow, but this is the 2nd time I've had cooling problems. First time the heater tap and water pump leaked (which got fixed) and now this. Whats causing this to happen?

It's a 98 VT series 1 sedan.
cheers

could be your thermostat is ****ed and causing the leak out of the overflow whilst driving.

had same problem, is a crack in hot side of tank (drivers side), pressure building in coolant system as a result of **** thermostat.

Hey dude i used to work for CALSONIC who made the radiator n your car, either the tank has a crack or the clinching which is the little tabs that holds the tanks on are shot.Buy a new radiator.
