can someone please tell me what this is? What its for? my manual vu v6 doesnt have it so i was thinking maybe its only in automatics. My car obviously doesnt need it to run but i was just curious. Cheers.

that airbox cover and plenum looks mint! i'm in the process of polishing my plenum cover too.

only bad thing about taking plastic cover off the plenum is u get more engine noise vibration which plastic coer is used for insulating noise!

cant say i really notice that over the exhaust n stereo lol is it really that much noisier haha?

thats why the stero has volume knob is for.
engine bay looks sick should try painting the plastic intake red to match your air box cover. just an idea?
