Will taking off my mud flaps have any bad side affects? because there ugly as **** and i want them gone.
As above, so if you do bugger all driving on country roads then you should be fine.
took mine off the other day, paint was faded under it, turnd yellowish, abit of polish took it out, but u can still see abit of it, plus the screw holes is abit of a pain, but im soon to respray the rear bar so it'll b gone...
down side to it was that it looks so much higher now,
plus side. dosent scrape now, got a excuse to get it more lowered lol
Yes, the car will look higher for some reason, I took them off the VR and the car looked high, I put them back on because I do country driving, the the VR/VS mudflaps (not mounded) do a pretty good job as they are very big.
I dont mind the shiny logo on my rear mudflaps (VS version).
I've gotten the 3 screws on the outer of the mudflap off but the screw/bolt on the inner mudflap is ****en impossible to get off lol. Anyone had same trouble and figured a way?
shudnt b very hard m8, i just used a mini screwdriver cause i cbf takin off the wheel's
I recommend putting the screws back in after you take the mudflap off... you don't know what trim might fall off.![]()
I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up on tape somewhere
yeh thats another good point, cause wen i took the rears off the bar was all loose, im like wtf wen did that happen... lol so i put the screws back in all good now
ahh i see it now. probably cos it's small. I'm no photoshopper so i can't pick on it!
i hate mudflaps...so ugly, its the first mod i do to any car, makes it look WAY better
i disagree, mudflaps are HOT!cept mine scrape my tyres when i turn so i gotta take them off but cbf......
yeah i kinda like my mudflaps, might be because thats what i'm used to wud look abit odd without them i think.
