i cant lock the steering wheel. yes the key is out.
it used to lock but now it wont

is there a fuse or something or is it cause i have bigger wheels?

The steering lock isn't electronic.

There is a steel pin in the ignition barrel that drops into the steering column to stop it from turning when the key is removed. This has broken off inside, so you need a new complete new ignition lock.

i called a machanic and he said all it is is a spring which came loose, not to worry about it.

He said nothing can go wrong.
