vx calais power mirror?????

a friend of mine has a VX calais and she smashed the driverside mirror,she's having trouble getting a complete mirror in silver to match her car. what i want to know is, is it possible to change just the mirror piece or do you have to replace the whole mirror?? everything else is still intact but the actual mirror is shattered... thanks for you time...

Yes you can replace just the glass mirror part. Heaps cheaper and easier than replacing the whole thing.

Hey - try out Holmart spares in Melbourne. I think they advertise on this site.
Check it is the non-convex (i.e. flat type) though when you order it - you don't want this on the drivers side.
I replaced my whole mirror and found it was convex on drivers side. I think it was meant for export!

When I say just the glass part, I should point out that it includes the plastic backing on the glass as well.
Here's Holmart:Holmart Holden Parts but I think they only have complete mirrors.
