    Default Ex-police no trac

I know this has most likely been brought up a thousand times but i've got a VX SS ex-police well kinda and like always no trac. However the vehicle isn't fully police as it has no mention of 9C1 under the hood but has all options such as sump guard, interior light disable, but no light above speedo or calibrated speedo. It's a S2 and was told that it was a surplus car never used by police but instead given to Holden Executives. Does anyone know it it possible to reinstate trac control? Or has the whole device been removed? CHeers

Sorry i meant trac std in performance series such as supercharged S models and V8 SS models not execs. However unsure but i think the Calais and Berlinas had 'em even as V6.

My Vx berlina LS1 has trac. think it ws standard. I do know if you have trac control it can be turned off when doing a edit.

One would think if you dont have it standard then all you would have to do is install the button (assuming the wires are there) and just have it turned on by a workshop.

My S/C VX has traction control. I think they are standard in the S/C VX's

had trac disabled with my mafless tune.. easy to turn off or on with efi-live, takes 2 seconds..

as far as i know, trac control is standard from the VT's on.

i hate the trac control in our vt...its far too intrusive, once i was pulling out in traffic had to gun it a bit, hit a manhole cover and trac control came on and pretty much stopped me dead in the middle of the intersection till it figured itself out, cut it pretty close with the truck approaching. after that i usually turn it off especially in the wet for that reason.

Yeah - I hate that sinking feeling when it just bogs down...especially when all there is to blame is a scrap of dirt just near the curb/corner.

Still, it's better than having to push the "turbo" button (ie. air con OFF) in my 1.6 N15 pulsar when pulling into traffic LOL.
