Transmission conversion???

hey guys
ive got an auto 02 vx commodore wagon.

i really wanna convert it to a 5 or 6 speed manual

how much you reckon im looking at for the conversion? (labour and parts)

do you think its worth while conversion?

i rekon a wagons going to be a bit of a challange... i dont think its cheap converting a VT/VX either...

is it a V8? if it isn't, I don't think it would be worth it. Probably a better conversion would be to find a wrecked R8 and transplant all the running gear. The uniqueness of a 6 speed manual V8 wagon would make it pretty worth it, if you're in it for props.

I sourced a rough price and even for mates rates it was looking at approx 4-5k...

In my case it would be cheaper to buy a whole new car which happens to be manual already
