Default How to Remove Entire Cluster in a VT

I want to replace my Single Window Cluster with a 3 Window one, How do I remove the whole cluster and also is it just a matter plugging in the new cluster and getting a tech2 to recalibrate it? or does it require rewiring? thanks guys.

The new cluster will just need recalibrating. You will need to remove the centre consul cover and the dash surround to remove the cluster.Do a search on how to remove the dash surround, it's been covered heaps of times.

easy job mate did it myself about 8 months ago
as said take the surround off and the cluster just unplugs
take it to a holden dealer or someone with a tech 2 and they will set the dash for you

Hey, this is probably a stupid question, but when I put the new cluster in the odometre will be wrong. My car has done just on 140000, the new cluster is set at 200000. My question is are there any legal implications and am I able to set the new cluster to my original distance even though its not a brand new cluster from holden? Thanks.

you can set the odo but you would have to take it to somewhere like vdo
you cant do it with a tech 2 unless its under 100km

you would be better off buying a cluster with lower km as it is expensive to get the odo reset
