vt inside roof lightbulb replacement??

Heya fellas... first post here! I just bought my 98 vt Acclaim (its my first car) but the inside roof bulb seems to have blown... I have tried taking the covering off, but it just wont come out... my question is, how do i take it off and what light bulb will it take?

Welcome to the forum etrigan.
You need to insert a flat bladed srewdriver into the cutout of the plastic lens cover and gently pry it off. once the cover is off remove the festoon type bulb and insert a new one. Re-install the plastic cover and you should be back in bussiness.

Welcome .... and congrat on your first car, what mods do you have in mind?

A nice little inside mod is removing the dome light all together and getting yourself a police spec or Calais dome light with the map lights. Blots straight up and looks trick !!!

Etrigan instructions are right on the money too.
