Ive been looking at some VZs but i know a guy who's selling his VX for half the price and it looks like a good deal.
However, worried about a few things that hopefully someone can offer some advice on.
The car has 84,000 ks which is quite low. It has logbooks but hasn't been serviced since 45,000 kays. Does this seem like much of a worry? If I was to purchase the car I would be looking into getting it serviced straight away. What are the major problems or things to look out for on a commodore approaching 100,000?
Also, it is unregistered and has no RWC, hence I couldn't take it for a test drive to see how it goes. Cranked up the engine though and it seemed to start and run well. The owner said it's been out of registration for quite some time as he travels, and as such hasn't been driven.
Any advice on what to look out for etc would be much appreciated. It's a VX II Acclaim if that helps at all.

I would say it would have to be very cheap (5-6k) to want a car that hasn't been serviced for 40,000. Plus I would want a machanic to look over it to see what would be needed for a RWC before you got too serious. If its been sitting a long while you'll probly be up for a new set of tyres as well as it doesn't take long to get flat spots in them. But thats just my oppinion.

Yeah get a mechanic to look over it,
Check the vitals, coolant, oils, check engine noise, etc.
