I have a VXII LS1 that already has headers and a remus twin system. I noticed today when i was looking underneath that the pipe leaving the cat on one side has been flattend.
i just bought the car so i have no idea why but have a fair idea how.
Anyway im going to take it to a exhaust shop this week but should i just get the pipe fixed or look at putting larger cats on. Im not to sure what gains it will make and after any advice.
If its only going to be stuff all then i would rather spend that money else where.
vt and vx have them flat sections after the cat from factory
get your standard cats opened up to 2.5" in/out or even better get high flow metal substrate cats
ill book it in this week to get the cats opened up. do you get much gains from replacing them with high flow ones??
im not going to do anything internal to it for a long time. so if its only good for internal moded engines then i wont bother
