If the outside door handle is broken, then It would need replacing anyway so I'd just drill it out, it's only plastic, and actuate the door with the metal rods.

Or you could wind down the window and prob near the handle with a metal ruler. The actuation rod get pushed down to open the door. The rod is located to the very back of the handle closest to the boot.

To assist with this procedure you may remove the outer window belt moulding to give further access to the inside of the foor.

    Great to hear!!
The new handle will come unpainted...Needs painting first. Find your paint code on the info. plate under the bonnet and supply to a paint shop with the handle.
The handles were changed with the earlier models so a new linking rod might be included.

I had the exact same problem 10 months ago i busted the back handle and just replaced it with a new painted one. Glad to see you are pain free and now you know where to look and who to ask.................
