    Default Fe2

I was thinking of upgrading to some FE2 springs and shocks on my VXII - is it worth it?

If not what other springs should I look for - I don't really want to lower the ride height much because of my driveway but was looking for a bit firmer ride and handling improvement...

I'm running FE2 and it's lower and stiffer then standard but not a great deal more, But if your after something lower and stiffer FE2 isn't the way to go. My VT is softer then my old VP was when it was factory springs shocks.

This is my car on FE2 suspension.

If another way simple, Kings pedders lovells make good springs, They have many sizes from 20-30mm lower 50-60mm lower 60-65mm i think..
Mos guys do Superlows that's around 50-60mm lower all-round, Then with shocks grab some lowered shocks again pedders Monroe kyb more expensive but they all make good shocks.

But it really depends on what you wont from it?. You could also go FE2 springs and pedders sportz ryders shocks they would make it feel more stiffer.

I do know that King make standard height springs that would be a bit stiffer...

ive been in a VX S pack with standard FE2 and thought the ride was quite firm, more on the sporty side than comfortable. Comparing it with my old VS Caprice with King spring Lows, my ride was more comfortable. And comparing that with my current VX berlina with stock sus, i'd go Kings over FE2 for comfort. Pedders are the same as FE2 in my opinion also. More firm than King springs. FE2 might be better for more "enthusiastic driving" rather than daily and/or cruising. Hope that helps.

I put the Kink springs into the back of the VX I had a few years ago and they were very good - stopped the saggy bum look. Kept the standard FE2 shocks (car was S/C 6)
