    Default Dodgy Brake lights

    Gents,

I've been because my mothers' 2001 Acclaim has a problem with the brake lights.

The lights would either come on by themselves after going for a drive or stay on after a drive. You tap the brake pedal and the brake lights "turn off", but the problem would still continue. I have replaced the stop lamp switch 2 times in the last 12 months, this fixes the problem for a little while, then it starts carrying on like a pork chop again.

    Anyone have an idea????

    Cheers
