VT Berlina Error Codes

Hello
I've just bought a 1999 VT Berlina Series II
I was wondering if anyone knows what the the following diag codes refer to.
My mechanic has scanned the computer and they are both under the INS DTC status
09 No Serial Data From BCM
13 No INS Poll From BCM
Any info would be appreciated.

I have seen these codes before. Common. I have never persued the diagnostic charts for them however.
Have you had an Instrument problem?

The car yards mechanic said they were common glitches between instruments and BCM also but I wanted to find out for myself.
The only problem I have had (and I have only had the car 5 days and it has only rained once) is the intermittent wipers have stopped midway a few times.

You should be able to get that fixed under the 30 day warranty. That is in NSW, don't know about other states.
