I have a 99 VT which has started to surge whilst idleing or pulled up at the lights, the surge is enough to make the rear end of the car slightly bog down then after about 10-20 seconds it has gradualy leveled up again and the bogges down again. Its like im giving it a little throttle or something. I had to replace the pipe which runs from the throttle body under the plenum chamber to a vaccum sensor behind the left bank near the firewall, but i could only find rubber vaccum hose to replace it with.
Could this hose have enough vaccum to be sucking closed or what???
