cold air induction pipe

Hey, i was looking at my engine bay trying to find a way i could put pipe for cold air induction from the air filter and theres no way i can see that it'll fit. There's a big metal rod in front of the filter to support the radiator i think. Anyone fitted a vt executive with a homemade cold air induction?

big metal rod?..... any chance of uploading a picture because I'm not following what "rod" this is. It might not be something standard, or perhaps a dodgey fit of a new radiator.

I was thinking of running the pipe from the filter thru to behind my lights to get airflow.

yep thats the air conditioning pipe, your could run a pipe from the side of the airbox down the the front bumper, that would work well.
The OTR CAI style that you already have is much better than piping air from the head light. This is what the VR/VR had, and it wasnt good

incorperate that rod into the cai when u turn the aircond on it gets cold weld some alloy fins on it or somthing. jk.
