Default VX Executive - Lost key

Hello from Fiji guys. One of my mates has a VX commodore and he has lost the key and he doesnt have a spare one.

Can anyone advise what his options are? Can Holden organise a replacement key from the VIN number?

I was thinking of gettin a s/h ignition switch, barrel and key with door and boot locks but am having trouble locating it.

We have a brand new remote head which we can program but the problem is no one here is able to cut keys for Holdens even if we get a blank.

I would really appreciate if someone could help us out here.

    Thanks.

    Regards,

    Michael

I think Holden will be able to help but you will probably need proof of ownership.

If he still has the the plastic "credit card" looking thing that was in the handbook from new, (it has the radio code, key blade code and the key Security code on it) a half decent locksmith can make a key from that info for you.
