Default Ecotec Engine Lifting / Anchoring Points

Ok this question might seem a bit straight forward for some people, but im not sure about it and without sounding too stupid , are there any anchor or lifting points on a vx V6 ecotec to lift the motor out , or is it just a sling or some type of chain around the motor to lift it,

    thanks

Put a strong belt or chain under each extractor and have them meet at the top, above the plenum. I've seen this done with only chains through the middle header pipe, but I'd personally do all three.

Best bets are to keep the chain (best option) pretty short, remove the wheels and have the car sitting on sturdy jackstands. It couldn't hurt to remove the front bar either, it's only 4 screws and 2 clips holding it in.

Bloody annoying that they don't have lifting brackets.
