    Question help with vt lights

hi i have a vt station wagon which i think was something like an ex telstra car or something like that

Now the problem i have is that the lights are on all the time even when the head light switch is set to off....
The only was i can turn the head lights off during the day is to set the switch to parkers.... but im always going through parker and tail light globes cause they are always on..

does anyone know how they do this or how to fix it so it is all back to normal.... so that when the switch is set to off... everything is off?

any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated

Behind the light switch there will be a part that is plugged into a wiring connector similar to the connector for the fog lights. I can't describe it because I've never seen one.

    ok got it all sorted
pulled the dash facisa off today and behind the headlight switch there was a little black box
i unplugged the box and ran what looked like the original loom which came from the bottom of the dash in the the switch
and what do you know it worked.... its now all back to normal
so im happy now.... and my parker globes will be also... and maybe now i wont go through as many globes..... YAY
