Hi guys, Teddy her with a blooody doussy!!

I have a vt series 1 commodore and the piece of #$%^& is running like a proverbal dog at idle and when we are driving at a idle speed.

I have recently had to do the head as the missus blew it and then i had all the nightmares you could not beleive.

So where i am now is.

No 4 cylinder was the problem. ie it had the water in when it blew.

Now !! I have changed the heater core , radiator thermostat, head gasket regrind set , reshaved the heads (no cracks seen by the man), new leads, new sparks

Not leaking water, or smoking, no bubbles in radiatior.

I pull the no 4 injector off at idle and it makes no difference until you rev the car and then it does. So i though ok it maybe a dead injector so i painly swapped it with another and its the still the same . I checked the resisitance before i did and it was in the normal range . I have compression and spark (bloody heaps). I tried a coil and it made no differnce!!!.

I also puled the tappet cover off and had a look and they are working visualy any way .

error code is 12!!!!.

Any ideas as I am ready to burn this sucker!!!!!

Teddy

idea #1... get a jerry can full of petrol.......

idea #2... could be a blocked fuel rail where it branches for No. 4 injector.

Don't know what the codes are, unfortunately.
