    Default Help Please:bypassing Immobilizer

    Hi There
    Can Any One Help Me I Have Just Bought A Vx 5.7 Manual Car.
    Stolen And Recovered.
    Steering Lock Is Broken;
    Is There Any Way Of Starting The Car Bypassing The Immobilizer By Holden,without Using The Remote Key.
    Because The Lock Is Broken I Can Crank The Engine But It Cuts Out After A Few Revolutions.

    Would Any One Know Would I Have To Take The Car To Holden To Get The Remote For The Car As The Car Is Not Drivable At The Moment It Makes This Task Difficult To Get The Car Started'
    Thanks

    If the car is yours, wouldn't you at least have a spare key? My advice would probably be to trailer it to your local Holden dealer and get them to program a new remote for you. You'll need to provide proof of ownership though. (such as rego papers)
