    Arrow Ls1 ??

    Hey all,

    Iv got a 00 model WH statesman non supercharged and i have over 200,000km on the dial and want to upgrade my engine, what can i do? im think of an LS1, but i basically wanna kno whats the best to go for cheapest lol.

    and if a LS1 is best, what is everything i need to know, like if i went to the machinics said i wanted a LS1 conversion from my old engine, what is everything i would be up for??

    Paying a mechanic to do a conversion would be an expensive job, either find a mate who you can help out to do it. I personelly wouldnt pay to do a conversion its just to costly unless you have money to blow. Maybe try and find one with an LS1 already in it, if thats possible.
    I only found out a couple of days ago that their was a standard supercharger V6 made by holden lol.

    For the amount of money it will cost, you would be much better of buying a Statesman with a LS1 already in it. There are heaps around.

    put a L98 L76 headed 6liter in it much better than an ls1
    13.3 1/4 exhaust only untuned!

    Mod the L67 gets my vote A cam and tune with charger porting goes for $4000ish. Will get you 200rwkw
