Default VX V6 Idler pulleys / Drive belt

    Hope someone can help,
I just got 3 x new pulleys and new belt for the Vx V6 (with air).
They gave me an EP002, EP030 and EP 004. The EP004 (90mm od) is supposed to be the a/c idler pulley - but the one on my car is a smaller one - about the same as the tensioner pulley.
The belt is also shorter than the new one.

I heard that the a/c pulley and belt were changed because of noise on 2000.
Can anyone tell me what the correct numbers are for the a/c pulley and the belt ??

    Thanks,
    Glen

    Default The answer

It appears that in Oct 2000 Holden changed the A/C idler pulley to be the same as the tensioner pulley. The belt was shortened. So the belt is now 6PK2811 (or 6PK2810 after market).
