Default intake mods for LPG VT

    G'day

Just wondering if anyone knows if intake mods (eg. Pod filters, CAI etc) can be fitted to a dual fiuel (LPG and petrol) VT???

Just dont want to screw the LPG computer up, like the mixture and stuff? Is it safe to do so, or has anyone done it?

    Cheers.

So its totally fine to put intake stuff on a gas engine?

you wont be able 2 run a pod. caise the gas system will have brethers in the air box. but you can run a cai like ss induction into ur standard air box

All mods yo do to a petrol car will apply to gas. Simple, with some restriction if you have a mixer, otherwise no difference.

I don't know much about the LPG dual fuel system but yeah, mines got like a little box in the engine bay with lights and stuff and it like tells you whether its rich or lean, so yeah its a mixture.

I just bought a standard K & N filter replacement today, that will go better then the standard piece of crap. Might look into getting a SS induction kit or something. Would rather an exhaust though probably.

What about chipping the car with dual fuel? No problems?

true, but with mine it looks like its got a turbo on the end of the intake, and its got heaps of leads and **** coming off it for the LPG computer/mixture I guess so i dont wanna **** it.

coo dawg - that would be the regulator device i've got one of those too.
impco system, goes harder on LPG than petrol by the way.
