Default Flasher unit/immobiliser playing up could it be body control module

Hey,
my vt com exec s1 has got ghosts in it it has an intermitent problem of when we unlock hte doors they unlock and i can here a buzzing noise in the dash and the car won't start what so ever so i have 2 disconnect the batt. then everything is fine. Secondly the flasher unit use to make a ticking noise now and then after turning a corner but then it went away for months when we had 2 replace the battery but now its back again and its driving me and the missus crazy is it the body control module if so could i go 2 the wreckers and throw in a replacement or am i going 2 have 2 back 2 holden and let them play with it/put in a new item, nad probaly cost me $800, any advice be appreciated thanks lono.

Sounds like your body control module to me. I had a similar problem with my VR and when locking the car - the passenger side indicators would remain on. Holden kept replacing the indicator flicker unit and hazard light unit. But the module controls this function. I got another module but had to get holden to program the keys.

pop your bonnect and unclip the fuse box on the drivers side.....
(the long rectangualr one) now up the top side (closer to window) are 4 fuses (depending what options u have on the car) if you look at the cover and fuse layout
you'll see a 10amp red one (bcm) remove it for at least 30 secs
and put it back in...see how that goes
