    Default removing front seats

    ey guys

    just a quick question regarding the front seats, since i got the side airbags in them, wud i have to disconnect the battery b4 i remove them?? i would think so just wanna check here first....

    just got myself some vy calais seats and will be doing them on saturday

    i did makes sense to disconnect it, i did when i changed mine had no probs

    yeah, and don't smoke when you're pulling the seats out.

    Yes you can disconnect the battery or remove the Air Bag Fuse.

    Also if you want to save yourself money, make sure you DO NOT turn the ignition on with any part of the Air bag system disconnected including the fuse as this will log a fault and you will have to take it to Holden to have it reset.

    Was going to advise this myself.. The guy who did the Audio in my ute had to pull out the seats but had to move the car so had to take it to GMH to have it reset cause the airbag light stayed on..

    just finished....it all went well, so much easier then i thought will post pics sumtime today or 2mw in the my ride thread
