vt instrument cluster

hi all im after a little help , my brother in law is wanting to do the led conversion to his instruments but was considering getting another one and doing it to that, my question is with the kilometers are they stored in the computer or are they saved in the cluster this may seem like a silly question for some but im just not sure any help would be greatly appreciated

This has been asked countless times . The kays are stored in the cluster.

a speedo specialist or holden tech can re-calibrate the speedo to match...

You won't be able to change the Ks on the cluster. It can only be done if it has less than 100 Ks on it .

u can change the kms on the cluster if its a series 1 cluster at any kms (which has a white backing on it) i did the same thing ages ago and got dr bob 2 change the ODO reading back 2 normal.
