Default back seat air vents and surround

I was just wondering, how the hell do I get this out? They're the vents that are at the back of the centre console, for the back seat. I have had a go, found 4 screws which I reckon I need to take out, but it's still stuck pretty firm, so I think I'm missing some screws. I got the two that you get from the top, after taking off the centre console lid, and I also got the two dow the side, having to move both front seats forward so that I could undo them. Is there any others? Or do I just need to pull it harder to get it out once I have undone these screws?

    Cheers.

From memory I think there are 5 screws, 2 at the bottom of the console ( 1 each side). 1 under the bin and 2 at the top. To get to the top ones, you have the remove the console lid & hinge, then remove a plastic cover (c shaped) that covers the screws. You have to remove the console to get to the screw under the bin.

If you are trying to remove the console to get at the air vents then you do need to remove the screws at the lighter socket and remove the console cover by lifting it from the rear. Then there are 2 more screws at the front of the console.

Oh wow, that looks pretty good there BoganV8, how do I geta copy of this book? So I have to remove the whole centre console to be able to get to that 5th screw? Or just that cover that goes around the power window switch and the gearstick, and then reach up through? Thanks for the help so far.

    .
Yes you have to remove the console cover and then there are 2 more screws at the front of the console. The whole consul needs to come out to access the vents.
The book is called a Gregory's service and repair manual.
