Eclipse AVN2210p Tuner/SatNav

Have a VX with the Eurovox CD changer giving that E-99 code. Read on another thread that I'll have to fork out around 400 bucks to fix it. Thought about paying extra and getting an Eclipse AVN2210p. Anybody already tried it? Does it look good? What about the wiring connector?

Havent tried it but it looks fair awesome. When I wired my eclipse unit i just spliced into the wiring loom. I don't think theres a harness adaptor available for eclipse units, although i may be wrong.

worst thing ever i work at toyota we use them the unit and sat nav isnt to bad just look really old in a new car and the sat nav is fairly big when out if it was me i would look more at something like this (better brand though) just look nicer and more useable with dvd as well 900 7"LCD IN DASH TOUCHSCREEN TV MONITOR GPS DVD PLAYER - eBay, Navigation, GPS, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. Thinking again, I am not sure I want to pay extra for satnav feature. Does anyone know of a good double din head unit that can play MP3 and would be easy to install on a VX? Something like an easy connector adaptation and compatible with the steering wheel control buttons (I don't care about CD changer control)?

or alternativelly, if I have to splice into the wiring loom, where do i find the wiring plan or list? should the steering wheel controls work with any head unit that has such inputs?
