Weird knocking noise from the back of my ss

hey guys the other day i was driving in the city and then all of a sudden i here this weird thumping noise. i turned inot a side street and it stopped so i thought nothing of it. but then today on the way home i got the same noise. its a repetative noise but then it just stops. also both times i had been driving the car a fair bit over an hour on both occasions. any ideas? somthing worong with the diff maybe?? cheers

We need a better description of the noise. So far all I can suggest is maybe broken exhaust rubber mounts.

Have you checked the exhaust pipe yet? Shake it around a bit to see if it knocks.

is the noise there on smooth parts of the road or on bumpy sections , does it seem worse at anytime or other, on corners ?

have you checked to see if anyones locked in your boot

i looked under he car and theres a rubber stip hanging down around near the exhaust. could that be it?

The exhaust is held up by rubber ring things so that could be your problem. Easy fix, just buy a new one and hook it up.
