Does anyone know whether a cluster from a 5.7 can be reprogrammed to suit an exec 3.8 so that the tacho reads correctly?

Pretty sure a Tech2 from Holden can sort that out mate

The gear selector lights won't work though.

there are a few options that need programming but it can all be configured with a tech2

Changing bcm to statesman will get gear selection to work though won't it?

I believe it will.

but the high series BCM wont plug into your car it would need extensive wiring mods to work

if it is a series 1 caqlais i think a series 2 High or lux bcm will do it, ill have to check
