Guys
Now i can land myself a genuine set of VE 19inch wheels with 50% tread for around the $900 mark. Now i no these wheels dont fit. During a search i read the hub needs machining? How much? Is this the center hole of the wheel or the flat back part of the wheel so the studs become longer? Please explain and advise?
It is worth the hassell?

Anyone got any ideas? Suggestion? Help?
i think its got something to do with boring out the internal diameter of vt-z's having 68mm and the ve having 66mm. i'd just measure them and make them the same (my ssv rims came pre machined)
EDIT I found this on the net
The difference in the wheel specs are VE hubs are 67mm and VZ 71mm. You can machine a VE wheel by taking out the small lip which sits back about 3mm from the edge. When you look at the wheel you can see it.
The issue with the over size holes (VE is 14mm VZ 12mm) is not that big an issue, most would not know that most wheels available for a VE are similar wheels to the VZ just with bigger holes and a hub ring to close the 4mm gap.
The problem with wheels coming undone is more about replacing your nuts with new acorn style nuts.
