    Default vx gauge pods?

    hey everyone, im thinkin of puttin some gauges into my vx underneath the head unit, was wonderin if anyone has done this an what difficulties they came across. any help would be great.

    Not what your thinking of under the head unit, but thats i idea i like.

    ah ok, i'll check there's out an see wat i come up with. also wat is the legal requirements for dash mounted gauges?

    ah that looks sweet! probly helps havin a shmick lookin head unit. how hard was that to install an make work properly?

    it wasnt all that hard at all

    all i used was a thin peice of aluminum.... cut it to shape...cut the holes in it for the gages
    and to hold the plate in i just picked up 2 screws holes that i found in that area

    hrm, ok then. can you use the original wires for vaults and water temp or do i need to install new senders?

    voult i just connected to the battery(from memory)... water and oil i had to use new senders.... but they should come with the gages....
    i just tapped into the opposite site to where the original water sender was....
    so both the gages work... the one in the dash and the one i put in
