    Lightbulb SS springs??????onto std model

hi guys..got offered some ss springs..my car is a std vt s2..17inch tyres..
i'm guessing these would lower my ride a little..just looking for that sport look...
would they be ok to just swap over or are there catches..want to do my baby up a bit..could start here..springs offered to me cheap...any help would be great..thanks.

Are they stock springs out of an ss? Im guessing there Fe2 springs, I think they lower your car like 20-30mm(I think)

Depends how low you want to go?

Though fe2 springs are good for handling and track use.

since no one else with more noledgy is saying anything ill tell u wat i know. pretty sure there dif between V6 and V8, the V8 springs take more weight, also pretty sure they will physicaly fit tho just the front will be higher cause there V8 springs.

I was thinking along those lines too, which was was I was a little hesitant in getting some fe2 springs off a friend who has a vy ss. (I have a vt v6) Maybe the rear springs are the same though?

    SS springs = fe2
    S springs = fe2

they have the same suspension set up. The V8 only adds weight to the whole thing.

if you want to see what your comm looks like with the springs just look for a factory height S or SS or i'm sure someone on here has an exec with fe2 springs
Chev badges are an instant fail

If the springs are identical, then why are there differnt part numbers for V8 and V6 front springs? If you where to use V8 springs the front would sit higher in a V6 then it would a V8.

really???is this a home job or shop job??
Depends if your up to it or not, easy job for some people, not so for other's. I think there's a how to on the site for it... I would do it at home.

Front springs are stiffer for the V8 over the V6 equivellant. Rears are the same. Fe-2 is slightly lower than the standard ride height.
