no it stays on....all the lights in the dash are on...except wen I turn the key to start it all dash lights are on... but no ignition.I actually went to check the codes for diagnosis and the wire that I was useing touched something and I remember seeing a spark, it was actually after that ,that I went to start it ..there was no ignition.

Ouch.. I have bad feeling about what just happened. You possibly may have hurt somthing in the elctronics. Have you checked to see if you maybe (hopfully) just blew a fuse somwhere. I dont know how to overide the imobiliser in the vt's(if you can at all), but if you can and know how, i would suggest trying that. It sounds as if the imobiliser is not turning off. Does the central locking and key all work ok still. Dr bobs the wizz, it would be best to speak to him again if you can.
